Jim has discipled men and couples in issues related to marriage, divorce, single parenting, re-marriage, blended families, grief, loss, shame, guilt, depression, anxiety, church hurt, addictions, recovery as well as money and priority management.

Education & Experience

Jim received his Doctor of Ministry and Master of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary (ATS) and has a Certificate of Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). Jim has completed the Advanced Degree Certification pathway with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC).

Jim completed Systematic Theology training at the Austin Stone, Pastoral Discipleship training at The Village Church Denton and ABC’s Equipped to Counsel (ETC) training in several church settings.

He has also received training with in the Soul Care Consulting International's Transformation (T5) Resources and Twelve Stones Ministries intensive counseling training.

Personal

In 2000, Jim and Donna married and now have six adult children and 12 grandchildren (with another on the way). He enjoys reading and being outdoors with neighbors, family, and friends. He is an elder at Redeemer Round Rock Church.
